Sri and Baladitya who live in a costal village fall in love with each other and indulge in some public display of affection which doesn’t go down well with the orthodox village people.The community raises serious objections and takes it as a breach of the village norms. As a punishment, they are forced out of the communit and their heads are shaved and they are made to face several torturous challenges.The story deals with the discrimination against women on the basis of cast, creed etc that exists till this day in our society.
