Chalaki is a remake of a Malayalam movie Chocolate, about a lone young man joining a women’s college, having his share of fun, going through the small pleasures in life, heartbreaks eta.The film introduces Aditya Babu, the producer of Jagadam, Aarya 2 as the hero and retains Roma, as the lead actress from the original version. The film certified A drew in crowds for the sheer concept of having a male studying in a women’s college and one expected a lot of vulgarity but the story though a decent one suffers from more than one flaw.
