Hasini is a standard Indian cinema formula film, where the hero and heroine meet on a train journey, each of them losing something precious and then meet again to discover each other.
Hasini (Sandhya) and Kamal (Kamalakar) travel in the same bogey on a train. She loses her bag and suspects that Kamal has knocked it off. She is worried because something valuable is there in the bag. Even Kamal loses a diamond ring which he wanted to give to Sony (Aphiya) and propose marriage.
